Impact CW Annual Community Event
Since our first shopping event in 2015, we have collected, packed and delivered boxes of food and/or local grocery gift cards to our local Camas and Washougal school families in need. In 2026 we hope to be providing food boxes and grocery gift cards for approximately 200 families. Times have been uncertain and a tough time for everyone and the need is even greater this year. This year all of the food and gift cards for the food boxes will be pre-purchased. We need to raise approximately $24,000 to feed these families. You can join us on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at our annual community event to help pack these food boxes. The event will be held at the Parker's Landing Historical Park at the Camas-Washougal Port starting at Noon with a ribbon cutting. After packing the food boxes, be sure to enjoy the Camas-Washougal Community Orchestra while you dine at the free BBQ for participants at the event!
If you would like to donate any non-perishable food (especially protein items) at the event, the food will go to the Treasure House local food pantry. They have asked especially for protein items such as peanut butter and chili-type items.
Free Barbeque
After packing the food boxes, be sure to join the free barbeque for participants and listen to the local and talented Camas-Washougal Community Orchestra while you dine!
